Comedy is undoubtedly the most subjective movie genre of the bunch. Everyone simply has a difference of opinion as to what they think is funny. Some people might find the sight of someone vomiting on another person hilarious while others prefer their comedy to be slightly more sophisticated. Neither preference is wrong, just different (and certainly not mutually exclusive).

The turn of the century saw a shift in the cinematic comedic landscape. The dominance of Jim Carrey was on its last leg, and fellow comedy heavyweights such as Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy would soon find themselves relegated to mostly lowest common denominator films that lack comedic souls.

The early 2000s saw the rise of Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and many others. By the time the mid-to-late-2000s came around, guys like Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen and Zach Galifianakis were running things. Fast forward to present day, and it's the likes of Kevin Hart, Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy tickling the funny bone of the masses.

With that being said, this list will be counting down the absolute funniest comedy movie moments of the last decade and a half - from darts in the neck to inappropriate graveyard sex. The only rule is that no film will appear twice (or else the entire list would be dominated by less than ten movies).

50. The Wolf Attacks - Tim And Eric's Billion Dollar Movie (2012)

The Movie: Would-be filmmakers Tim (Tim Heidecker) and Eric (Eric Wareheim) get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dream run off course. In order to make the money back, they then attempt to revitalize a failing shopping mall.

The Scene: When a wolf begins to terrorize the mall, resident man-child, Taquito (John C. Reilly), decides to step up to the plate and sacrifice his life for the good of the establishment. He indeed manages to kill the wolf and save the day but becomes fatally injured in the process.

This touching moment ends with the mall's owner and Taquito's best friend (Will Ferrell) attempting to put his pal out of his misery. This turns out to be easier said than done as he nearly empties an entire clip into his body to (almost) no avail.

Memorable Quote: "Tell you what Taquito, we're gonna change the name of the pizza court to Taquito court. You hear me?"
