6 Actors Who Nearly Died Filming 2015's Biggest Movies

6. Kit Harington Crashed Through A Wall & Lost Conciousness - Spooks: The Greater Good

Though Kit Harington is perhaps best known for his work on TV's Game Of Thrones (who are we kidding? Of course that's what he's best known for!), the actor took a little time out last year to shoot a filmic spin-off movie to BBC's Spooks, subtitled "The Greater Good." And in the process of doing so, he almost died. Yes, during one scene in the film, which is almost entirely composed of shady MI5 operatives, car chases and back alleys, called for Harington to be thrown against a wall. But when it came time to shoot the stunt, the actor actually went through the darn thing. Which, of course, wasn't supposed to happen. In his own words, Harington describes the incident:
"I wasn't meant to go through that wall. That was a mistake. It worked brilliantly on film but it hurt like hell. That was me. I've still got the bump on the head to prove it. If you slow it right down you can see me lose consciousness for a second. At first it was a bit worrying - you might have killed your lead actor.''
Thankfully, he later recovered from the incident. For a minute there though, Kit Harington almost pulled a real-life Jon Snow on us.
