6 Most Titillating Italian Films With Awesome Titles

5. Why Are Those Strange Drops Of Blood On The Body Of Jennifer? (Case of the Bloody Iris) (1972)

body of jennifer Jennifer and her friend Marilyn move into a swanky flat in which the previous owner was killed. Soon the stalker is menacing Jennifer and there are plenty of suspects ahoy - incluing a deformed man and his creepy mother, a sex mad lesbian and even the building's architect who has a fear of blood. It takes a lot of suspension of disbelief in order to truly enjoy this film. There are plot holes galore, silly dialogue and improbable behaviour among the characters. But the film ranks up there as being one of the most entertaining Gialli. Lovers of Gialli cannot afford to miss this film - especially with Edwige Fenech and George Hilton playing the lead parts. That is just pure Eurotrash heaven! Like most Gialli, there is an awesome soundtrack and the atmosphere of dread in the movie is maintained throughout, with the characters' motivation only being revealed in the final minutes of the film. Any horror fan will enjoy this Giallo excursion. The murder scenes are explicit and well shot and once again, Bruno Nicolai provides a marvellous jazzy score. One to get hold of ASAP!

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
