Iron Man? No Iron Man? Forget Iron Man, we Have Spider-Man!

Marvel Rumours Avengers 3 As Avengers: Age Of Ultron gets ever closer, drawing to a close Marvel's Phase 2, the internet continues to be abuzz with rumours and supposition as to where the franchise will go next. Ant Man, Captain America 3 and Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 are already confirmed and we're due an announcement on who will take up the mantle of Doctor Strange any time now. With Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige already stating that Marvel has it's film franchise planned out to 2028, we know there's still plenty of greatness to come. Expectations are impossibly high. Black Panther, Captain Marvel, The Infinity Gauntlet and Civil War; fans are waiting for their favourite characters and storylines to be translated to the big screen. Hopes of superheroes like the X Men working alongside the Avengers has become an impossibility due to the rights to these characters existing with different studios. Fans are not going to get everything they want so what Marvel serves up has to be impossibly good. Marvel's Agent's of SHIELD has risen above early grumblings thanks to Captain America: The Winter Soldier's terrific Hydra arc. Hayley Atwell is coming back as Peggy Carter for her own series. Daredevil will turn up on Netflix next year to head a new run of Marvel TV shows, leading up to The Defenders. It's a great time to be a Marvel fan, even if you're never going to get endless Captain America or Thor films. Or Spiderman turning up to join the ranks of The Avengers... oh wait... ...There have been some surprising rumours over the last few weeks, rumours, that if proven true could rock the Marvel Cinematic universe. Like everything we've been hearing, these should be taken with a large kilo of salt, but they prove that perhaps Kevin Feige's 14-year master plan isn't quite as locked down as we thought. In this article, we'll look at six of the biggest rumours circulating the Net and discuss what ramifications they might have for the Marvel Universe moving forward.
