Watching movies truly is a captivating medium for the masses. That's not a surprising statement and neither should it be. There's just something magical in being able to escape to alternate worlds and become fully engrossed in the story, the visuals and the characters. However, despite the majority of the audience having a basic knowledge of how movies are created, it's actually quite surprising that we don't ponder how these movies are actually put together more often. We tend to forget about the fact that everything we see onscreen is painstakingly crafted by the actors, the directors and the film crew. Maybe it's a general ignorance towards it, or maybe it's because those images want to stay perfect in your mind. This is especially true during childhood, when your mind doesn't comprehend all of this and simply sees something for what it is. Movies can truly captivate a child's mind, and it was no different for you and me. Whilst I was researching this article, I found so many images of moments in film that were so perfect that it's hard to believe that they weren't really happening. Now, I'll take this time to share those images with you and, effectively, attempt to ruin your childhood. For that, I apologise.
