7 Infamous Serial Killers Who Should Have Their Own Movies

gary ridgway So I would recommend making sure that we're all reading this during daytime hours and only when we're emotionally ready to proceed, because it's about to get pretty dark. If you're trying to read this in the middle of the night, maybe just stop and save it for the morning. Trust me, it's for the best. We've all had that experience where we somehow end up on Jack the Ripper's wikipedia page at 2:00 in the morning and suddenly realize how dark the house is and how alone we are and that we're not quite sure if we remembered to lock the back door. Serial killers are bad news. Scary stuff. Which is why they make such great material for horror movies, especially when it's based on real events. There's something fascinating about people who can kill for seemingly no reason at all. It's not like an action movie or a thriller, where there's usually some element of revenge or purpose to the deaths. With serial killers, there's just this vague, unsettling feeling that they could be anyone, anyone at all, killing completely at random. We can argue about whether or not we should give these killers any more attention than they've already received. But from what I understand, unlike terrorists or political assassins, their murders are caused more by a compulsion towards violence rather than any desire for attention. So perhaps increased interest in their crimes might shed light on why they commit such heinous acts. But anyway, here are seven real life serial killers who really should have had movies made about them by now.
