7 Villains Who Would Work In A Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reboot Movie

7. The Order Of Taraka

The Order of Taraka was a society of deadly and feared assassins and bounty hunters. Some of them were humans while others were demons. They appeared in season two of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, having been hired by Spike (though that wouldn't necessarily need to be the case in a movie) to take Buffy down. Rupert Giles, Buffy's watcher, described them as follows:
They are masters of deceit. Vampires are bound by the night, but these predators can be anywhere, anytime. They can appear as normal as the next person. Just another face in the crowd. You might not ever know when one of them is near - not until the moment of your death. They have no earthly desire except to collect their bounty. To find their target and eliminate it - You can kill as many of them as you like. It won't make any difference - because where there is one, there will be another. And another. They won't stop coming until the job is done.
In the television series, the Order consisted of a demon disguised as a human salesman who could turn in to thousands of bugs, a human female assassin disguised as a police officer and a burly one-eyed human male assassin. The beauty of utilising the Order in a movie would be that they could be varied in species, powers and skills and new characters could be introduced to differentiate them from the television version and offer something totally new. Who they would be sent by in a movie is open to debate, but they'd make for a really action-packed plot.
