7 Ways Venom Could Join The MCU

5. Venom Finds Spider-Man More Exciting Than Brock

Obviously the biggest (and perhaps the most frustrating) thing about Venom is that it tells its story without Spider-Man, who was a pivotal character in the creature's origin. The film manages to get away with it just about, but there is a sense that something is missing.

Venom may have ended on a happy note with the symbiote and Eddie coming to an understanding, but there's still a chance that things aren't at ease. The symbiote finds solace in Brock because (their words, not mine) they consider themselves a 'loser' much like him, but how long will it be until the symbiote stumbles across footage of the Avengers, and the rest of Marvel's heroes?

This provides the perfect angle for it to find a new host - at least temporarily - and though Peter is poised to wear a black suit of sorts in Far From Home, it's not the Alien Costume everyone is familiar with.

Introduce a conflict wherein both Peter and Eddie are fighting for the symbiote, and not only do you find a way of retaining the original film's comedic tone, you also add some much needed pathos to that relationship, and the perfect premise for a brewing rivalry between the characters on the big screen.
