8 Actors Who Have Only Made One Good Movie

5. Kevin James - Hitch

2005's rom-com Hitch was Kevin James' first starring movie role, and to date his only lead role in a critically acclaimed film.

James' nervous chemistry with Will Smith made Hitch a breezily enjoyable and mildly unique entry into a well-worn genre, but sadly ever since, he's been starring in cynical, bottom-of-the-barrel slop like Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper, Grown Ups and Pixels.

Critics are long-tired of James' "fat guy falls down" shtick, and though he can clearly be charming and affable with the right material, he unfortunately springs for lowest-common denominator dreck 99% of the time.

Unlike his pal Adam Sandler, he doesn't even pull a good movie out of nowhere every 3 or 4 years.
