8 Bizarre Conspiracy Theories About Popular Actors

From Illuminati sacrifices to Scientology weddings...things are about to get weird.

Hollywood is the crux of the film industry, having existed for over one-hundred years and generating billions and billions of dollars over the span of its life. For all the joy Hollywood has brought to people's lives, though, it's also been accused of putting on a front; of mistreating actors and actresses and at times being utterly ruthless in its pursuit of success. Take Judy Garland, for example, the Wizard Of Oz actress who accused Hollywood of getting her hooked on prescription medication by the age of thirteen, and controlling her diet to the point of physically withholding food. It's only natural, then, that such a gigantic industry known for past shadiness €“ coupled with society's natural hunger for the truth €“ would manifest in a host of strange, fascinating and often extremely dark conspiracy theories. Of course, in reality there's rarely anything being concealed...or so we're told. It wouldn't be surprising for an industry based on telling fanciful lies to be perpetuating a few of its own. That being said, absurdity comes with the territory. For every conspiracy theory that makes you pause and consider what the truth really is, there are those that make you scoff in derision at their ridiculousness...

8. Paul Walker Was Murdered For Uncovering A Haiyan Conspiracy

Paul Walker's death was an immense tragedy. The actor had just left a charity event with Roger Rodas, dedicated to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, when their car crashed into a concrete lamppost and burst into flames. Despite the fact that the car was said to be travelling between eighty and ninety-three miles per hour at the time of the crash, it's still terrible that the beloved actor lost his life. Not long after Walker's death, though, the conspiracy theories began. You'd think that tragedy would be spared from such appropriation, but nope €“ it wasn't. Theorists speculated that Walker and Rodas were murdered, with someone tampering with the car's breaks so that they'd malfunction after it hit a certain speed. Why on earth would such a thing happen? Theorists claim that Walker discovered a terrible conspiracy to dose victims of Typhoon Haiyan with a new kind of permanent birth control, hidden in food supplies. This would curb overpopulation and act as a trial for use in third world countries. The theory continues that Walker and Rodas held recordings on their mobile phones that would expose the conspiracy to the world at large. If that's not enough, theorists also point to Family Guy as predicting Walker's death. The week before, the show killed of the character of Brian, and Brian was the name of Walker's character in the Fast And Furious series.
