8 Casting Decisions In Upcoming Movies That Are Completely Perfect

Casting choices to make you say: "Of course!"

Hollywood is renowned for its ability to mess up the casting of its motion pictures. It's perversely the one thing that it does really, really well - how else do you explain Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, or Will Smith as Deadshot (c'mon, he's going to be bad)? Month after month, week after week, film-lovers around the world find themselves faced with new revelations regarding the worst actors imaginable being assigned to famous, popular and very important roles - the kind of casting decisions that make you want to track down the people who OK'd them so you can give them a very firm talking to (and a slap). Occasionally, though, Hollywood gets it spot-on. Whilst a lot of casting decisions seem inappropriate or misjudged (and later reveal themselves to be exactly that), sometimes the studios choose the exact right people - the absolute perfect actors for the job. It doesn't happen a lot, but when it does... well, you end up with Ian McKellen as Gandalf or Hugh Jackman as Wolverine or - and there's no arguing this - Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man. Here, then, are eight actors who appear to have been perfectly cast in their roles in upcoming movies; no, we haven't seen them in the films yet, but there's no doubting that they will excel in these parts, because - quite frankly - they seem born to play them...
