8 Films That Said Being Different Is Not A Problem

Everyone being different, is what's naturally beautiful.

Have you ever watched a film and thought, no one in real, every day life, actually looks like that? The beautiful, blonde, skinny female with the big boobs or the hunky, tanned sex god are what film directors believe sell movies. But it's the underdog in a whole host of films that have really stood their ground, made a statement, and won over the hearts of their audience. Have you ever left the cinema with the feeling that only the prettiest girls get the hot guys or you have to be a world class sports man to even be able to talk to the head cheerleader? Luckily enough, for those of you who prefer to see the underdog come out on top, there are some films out there that said it's OK to be different, it's OK to be fat, or be a fish, or be a different race to everyone else. These are the films that are the most liberating, most empowering and most importantly, worth a watch. They might not be your cup of tea as far as film genre or subject matter are concerned, you might not have even seen them, but they all said that being different is not a problem, which is something everyone can appreciate. There's nothing wrong with being the prettiest girl in school or the fastest runner on the sports field, but it's just nice to know that everyone now gets a say.
