Our time on this Earth with Nymphadora Tonks was tragically brief, namely due to the small matter of her demise at the hands of the Death Eaters in Deathly Hallows. Thankfully, TV can resurrect the dead, that much we know for sure from Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D pilot, an episode which appears to be proving that even a spear through the heart can't keep a good Coulson down. On that note, there can't be any harm in bringing back Tonks and looking into her family life, can there? If the continuity just can't handle a shake-up of that magnitude- heaven knows, fans across the world are probably still wondering why the hell Snape preferred to torture Harry rather than open up to the son of his beloved- then the alternative is simple. Lupin and Tonks bore a mini-wizard before they were sent to live it up in a King's Cross-themed purgatory with Dumbledore and the countless other casualties of Rowling's infamous Battle Of Hogwarts, and this child could well be involved with the repercussions of the aforementioned conflict on their family. From there on out, we need only let the family drama commence, with constant wars for power, frequent violence and romance and a few dragons thrown in for good measure. Given that the Potterverse packs all of that in good measure, and the Tonks family could probably turn into dragons themselves based on what we know of Nymphadora's Transfiguaration tendencies, provided this was aired in a mature timeslot we could have another potential hit on our hands that's every bit as popular as HBO's fine fantasy epic!
