Giger header H. R. Giger is best known for his incredible work on the creature design for Alien. His work is characterized by surrealism, dark mood, and sexuality. The blend of gothic and futuristic imagery he perfected would seemingly make him a perfect candidate for a Batman project, right? giger 5 It is not entirely astounding why his design was never used, however.
