You might remember a while back when, having finished shooting the Harry Potter movies, Daniel Radcliffe decided that he wanted to go on stage and walk about naked, showing off his bits and falling in love with horses. Or to phrase it differently, he starred on stage in a play called
Equus, which required him to do things along those lines. And what's that we can see in the background during the cafe wand fight sequence in
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1? Why, a well-placed poster for the show behind the lovely Emma Watson. Another interesting slice of trivia to accompany this in-joke: the Radcliffe run of
Equus also featured the late Richard Griffiths, who played fatty Uncle Vernon in a whole bunch of Harry Potter flicks. So, that's like, two actors from the same franchise starring in a play together. What are the odds of that? Rather high, you say? Fair point. I mean, it's useless trivia in its lowest possible form, but you might be able to use it somewhere, some day. I can't think of a specific time when it'll be useful or anything, though. Sorry.
