8 Major Comic-Con Revelations Everyone Missed

7. Duncan Jones Will (Probably) Make Mute Before Warcraft's Released

Duncan Jones has been off the grid for a few years now - not that he's just been lazing around or generally running away from interviewers asking the annoyingly regular questions about his famous dad (as opposed to the work). Since Source Code in 2011, Jones has been working on a couple of projects, one of which fell through, the other of which was Warcraft.

Talking up the long-developing Warcraft was the main reason Jones attended Comic-Con this year; unveiling character designs and the bringing the cast along for discussion, in prep for the film's release next year. But Jones also got a word in about that other project, revealing what his fans have been hoping to hear for some time.

It turns out that Mute, a Blade Runner-esque sci-fi about a mute bartender searching for his girlfriend in a future Berlin, is out of development hell and will be Jones's next film - providing he can get it shot in the 11 months between now and Warcraft's release. Luckily, he managed the same feat with Moon, but then that one was considerably smaller in scale.
