"Whitewashing!" would certainly be the rallying cry if Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li was to release today, but this completely misguided and utterly unnecessary side-story had bigger problems than just the colour of Kristin Kreuk's skin.

Mainly the fact that Kreuk wasn't remotely as in shape as she needed to be to play one of fighting games' most badass characters - Chun-Li's kicks could fell a building if she directed enough of them in one direction - that was before you got to the godawful script, acting and cinematography on display.

Kreuk's version forwent the more peppy, self-confident dialogue we'd come to know and love, and Legend Films even butchered the Spinning Bird Kick in one of hands-down the worst pieces of fight choreography you'll ever see:
