8 More Famous Actors Forced Into Roles They Never Wanted

7. Jamie Lee Curtis - Halloween: Resurrection

Jamie Lee Curtis's appearance in Halloween: Resurrection is completely pointless as much as it is offensive, taking a beloved horror movie protagonist, turning her into a paltry cameo, and then quite literally stabbing her in the back. They even threw her off a roof for good measure, for god's sake.

Curtis has been particularly open about not enjoying her time on Resurrection, roped into doing the bit part from a clause in her contract for Halloween: H20 buried deep in the finer of the fine prints. Apparently, she'd already had enough of the character and wanted to leave the story as it was - but was obliged to finish the series in the way that producers saw fit. Why they decided to sh*t all over the franchise as a whole with Laurie Strode's unceremonious death is a question for another day.

The only good thing to be drawn from the whole fiasco is that Curtis acted the pants off of everyone else in the film even when having a quick kiss with her masked brother, which really says something for the quality.
