8 Things You Could Probably Expect From Quentin Tarantino's Sci-Fi Movie

Will Tarantino really pass up the opportunity to give us a multi-colored bloodbath?

quentin tarantino banana Quentin Tarantino has been making critically acclaimed and iconic films for over twenty years now, and despite threats to retire after making ten films, is still going strong. He hit a bit of a speed bump with his latest project, The Hateful Eight, after the film's script leaked online, but is now back in the director's chair and hard at work on making the bloody Western. Tarantino has tackled crime drama, spaghetti western, Grindhouse exploitation, and a World War II period piece, but is now setting his sights in a new genre he hasn't graced his presence with yet: Science fiction. While at San Diego Comic-Con last month, Tarantino was asked if he would ever make a sci-fi film, and claimed that he was open to the idea. It's exciting to think of the things Tarantino could do with the genre, especially when looking at the things he's done with his varied filmography so far. While we have no idea what kind of plot, setting, or characters of his sci-fi would be, the director has left a few calling cards across his seven films that give us some clues as to what we can expect from his new projects. Apart from the usual Tarantino-isms (we're bound to see Uma Thurman's feet at some point, for example), let's take a closer look at what he's done throughout his career that will likely influence his first foray into science fiction.
