Tomorrow cinema-goers will head to theatres across the country to watch Bruce Willis get himself into more hairy situations as everyone’s favourite action hero John McClane trots out for a fifth outing in the long-running Die Hard franchise.
Despite the disappointment that the film has been rated a 12a, ruling out the possibility of McClane uttering his famous expletive-laden catchphrase, it is still expected that many will flock to cinemas over the weekend to see the much loved wise-cracking tough guy in action – the stats prove as much.
The film’s worldwide gross earnings since 1988′s seminal Die Hard have only continued to rise, proving that the franchise is still a popular one. In fact, the only thing that has been receding recently is Bruce Willis’ hairline.
