A second poster for Jesse James

Just days after I was wowed by the first full length trailer for the Brad Pitt Western The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, I find myself a little dumbstruck by the poster. It's a little bland and what's with the footer names being half way down the poster and the film's title is sure going to be hard to read when your walking down the theatre aisle, distracted by the pretty colours of other posters. I believe Warner Brothers gave up on this $30 million Western months and months ago, and it's limited release proves it. They want to release it without much fanfare, kinda push it under the carpet and just see what happens. Hope it becomes a hit on DVD or something. Shame because this movie looks killer and if 3:10 to Yuma happened to be a success, it could easily have had a knock on effect for this movie which is released just a few weeks later. I'm really hoping Lionsgate begin to pull through with the advertising of Yuma. It's been quiet from the studio so far, let's hope they don't mess up a money making potential.
