ACCIDENTES! ACCIDENTES! New Sacha Baron Cohen comedy!

I have nothing. No witty reason, no clever metaphor or pun. I have nothing to explain why I used that headline in this post except that I think ACCIDENTES! ACCIDENTES! looks fun written like that. The in-demand Sacha Baron Cohen will team with his Academy Award nominated co-scribe of Borat for Accidentes, a studio comedy that see's him play a Spanish ambulance chasing personal injury lawyer which Fox Atomic will finance.

Debbie Liebling, who supervised production on Borat over at 20th Century Fox, is now the President of Fox Atomic and is obviously a great supporter of Cohen's talent bringing the Brit over to another studio.
The protag will be a lawyer of Latin descent who transforms from contingency attorney to hero of the working class when he helps an immigrant win a judgment against his wealthy employer after a landscaping mishap. He also becomes the enemy of L.A.€™s power elite.
A straight role...or is it a Jim Carrey role from the 90's? Cohen who is enjoying the wealth that studio movies brings, has just completed Bruno for Universal Pictures (due out next Summer), the Dreamworks comedy Dinner for Schmucks and the light hearted version of Sherlock Holmes at Columbia Pictures (which rivals the Robert Downey Jr. serious version at Warners). It's unknown what Cohen wants to make as his next movie. source - variety
