Age Of Ultron: 10 Unlikely Things That Could Be Referenced

Easter eggs we half expect to see with next year's Marvel spectacular.

Marvel ComicsThe Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, is but ten months away and people are starting to get excited about what will be Marvel Studios' biggest ensemble and biggest budget movie to date. It will see the coming together of the existing live action Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye) with new recruits that include Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, as well as the likes of James "Rhodey" Rhodes, Nick Fury and Maria Hill, in order to combat a new robotic threat to Earth. The titular villain - who will be portrayed by the brilliant James Spader - has a rich history in Marvel Comics, having first appeared on panel way back in 1968 in Avengers #54 (unnamed at the time - he was first given a name in the following issue). As a result, he has interacted with a lot of characters, had a number of interesting arcs and has an interesting backstory (in terms of both his creation as a character by writers/artists and his character's storyline origins). Consequently, there are a lot of interesting potential surprise inclusions (plot points and so forth), references (things that might get a passing mention) and Easter eggs (subtle things that might appear in the background) in Avengers: Age of Ultron and we're going to be discussing some of them in this article.
