10. Black Cat Will Appear
We already knew that there was a distinct possibility that Black Cat was going to appear in Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man universe as Felicity Jones had confirmed in an interview that she was going to appear "in costume" for her role as Felicia Hardy - otherwise known as Black Cat in the comics. Instead, Hardy appeared as no more than a PA to Harry Osborn, without much hint that she has a background as a master jewel thief, and it seemed Jones had pulled a fast one. But Black Cat might still appear, as we've already discussed, with a different origin story, and perhaps not the anti-hero slant that she has traditionally been seen with in the comics. And that seems to have been confirmed - in a fairly vague way - by producers Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad, who were posed the question of the character's seeding by Den Of Geek. So should we be reading much into the fact that the character has been hinted at? According to Arad: "Definitely. Everything you see that makes you think about the comics, I think you should read into it... when they'll be implemented, that's food for thought" ". And Tolmach went on to confirm that "there are no accidents." There's vagueness there, but it's definitely a matter of when and how, and not if.
