The Amazing Spider-Man: 9 Predictions For His Cinematic Universe

They're going all Avengers on Spidey, so let's make some predictions about where he's going to end up.

When Sony announced that The Amazing Spider-Man would extend itself to two more sequels after TASM2, bringing the total to four films and several spinoffs, fans were delighted at the prospect of Spider-Man's world blowing up to epic proportions. At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man, several questions were left unanswered and multiple roads revealed themselves to a universe that could provide deeper roots than Sam Raimi's original trilogy of Spider-Man films. Spider-Man has been re-imagined for a new generation, and with it brings a vast amount of potential. With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (or TASM2 for short) released this May, fans have been given a sneak peek at what's to come for Spider-Man's future, revealing a more-than-likely conflict with the Sinister Six and having his rogues gallery explicated upon in the later sequels. But it's the paths that it takes to get to those conflicts that are the most alluring, and thus brings to light the predictions for Spider-Man's own Cinematic Universe. While the roads are literally endless, nine special predictions have been sifted out of the comic book sandbox and analyzed from the The Amazing Spider-Man, the production of TASM2, cast interviews, and hints within the trailers. These predictions shed some light on issues we're already well aware of, but also introducing new elements of suspense that have a very high chance at being showcased later in the series. While mostly going off of common knowledge from TASM2, there is a minor SPOILER WARNING in effect.
