Anne Hathaway Goes Interstellar With Christopher Nolan

anne hathaway nolan Anne Hathaway has become the second star cast in Christopher Nolan's mouth-watering new sci-fi project, Interstellar. She joins the already cast Matthew McConaughey, the lead of the movie, in the Jonathan Nolan (Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight) scripted original (albeit based on scientific theories by Caltech physicist and relativity expert Kip S. Thorne) about a group of explorers who go through a wormhole and will deal with time travel and alternate dimensions. The official plot synopsis we have so far;
The film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.
McConaughey plays a character named Cooper. No specifics yet on Hathaway's role. For Hathaway, the role is a continuation of the massive ride of success the actress has been having lately. She is coming off her Academy Award win for Les Miserables and last summer starred as Catwoman in the Chris Nolan blockbuster, The Dark Knight Rises. For Nolan, it's the loyal director once again clinching on to people he likes to work with and re-casting them in follow-up projects. Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard all followed Nolan from Inception to The Dark Knight Rises, along with Michael Caine and Cillian Murphy who were already part of the Nolan family. In fact for Interstellar, we already know, from comments given by Michael Caine at the tail end of last year, that the British veteran will also be re-teaming with Nolan in this movie, the sixth in succession. We suspect more will come. Interstellar is due to hit theaters on November 7, 2014 as a joint Warner Bros and Paramount production and casting continues. source - deadline
