Another western on the way

In my first podcast, I said that the western is one of my favourite genres and that we don't get enough of them on our screens these days. Well it's been announced that alongside the already in development 3:10 to Yuma and the soon to be released The Assination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (the single greatest title to a film ever!), we can look forward to a third western to be produced by Warner Brothers. "The Brigands of Rattleborge" is written by Craig Zahler and currently has no cast or director attachted as of yet. Here are the plot details of the movie from the folks at Empire.. "The story follows three evil bandits who take advantage of a torrential downpour to rape, steal, murder and maim their way through the titular town€™s richest inhabitants. But once the rain clears, the local sheriff and a revenge-seeking medic set out to turn the tables on them". I think it sounds great. Anyone else fans of the western genre?
