It's no secret that all major Hollywood movies have special codenames in order to keep a lower profile during shooting and throw the press off the scent (little though it tends to help).

While the first Ant-Man was nick-named "Bigfoot", behind-the-scenes footage of the sequel reveals that it had the fanciful working title of "Cherry Blue." It's easy to see how Bigfoot relates to Ant-Man, but Cherry Blue?

According to director Peyton Reed, it's a reference to the Tim and Eric sketch where Dr. Steve Brule (John C. Reilly) wants to buy a cherry red car but they only have cherry blue.

It's especially apt as Tim and Eric's Tim Heidecker even has a cameo in the movie as a whale boat captain, and many of his alternate takes are included among these digital extras.
