The dust has barely even settled following Avengers: Infinity War - pun kinda intended - and the second trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp has already landed. And you know what? It's looking pretty damn fun.
While anyone hoping for any major post-Infinity War hints might be left a little disappointed, the lack of additional context should be expected given that most if not all of the movie takes place ahead of Marvel's recent epic. Any direct nods to Avengers 4 will most certainly be left to the film's inevitable credits scenes.
This new trailer, meanwhile, persuasively argues that the superhero sequel is going to one-up the previous film in several key areas, even if it might also fall prey to several of the issues that beleaguered it.
Considering it's the final Marvel Cinematic Universe movie until Captain Marvel next March, fingers crossed it leaves fans with plenty to savour and think about as the winding road to Avengers 4 kicks off...
