Aquaman Is Very Emotional But Has Lots Of Action

If you're excited by the prospect of seeing James Wan's Aquaman later this year, there's reason to be cheerful right now as the first reactions have hit the net after the test screening put on by Warner Bros. And they're positive, mercifully.

There was no reason to suspect that they wouldn't be, of course, because unlike Justice League - whose production story was very VERY public - Aquaman has been comparatively plain sailing for the studio and the director. Even those rumours that Wan was looking to leave early on proved to be no more than a bit of pot stirring.

But it's still good to hear - from Batman-News - that those early reactions are good, even though the people in attendance are strictly supposed to say anything about it...

Still, given Justice League's issues, there's no way Warner Bros would turn down any positive publicity for their next DCEU release. They need a victory and they need the fans of the character - including those who liked Jason Momoa's turn in Justice League - to know they can still count on a good adaptation.

Let's just hope that the version that's received the positive reactions won't now be completely mangled in the edit to the point where it's impossible to have the same response when it comes out for real...
