4. Quicksilver Dies

This is exactly the kind of spoiler any director must dread being revealed, and with multiple sites reporting that Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver dies in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it definitely looks like one of the sequel's biggest moments has been ruined weeks before its release. He apparently goes out saving Hawkeye, which feels like something of a waste. It makes sense though, as Taylor-Johnson has always seemingly been quite reluctant to take on anything that requires the kind of commitment the Marvel Cinematic Universe does. This decision might also have something to do with Marvel wanting to avoid comparisons to Fox's Quicksilver and The Flash, but Whedon does have a thing for killing characters off...
