Avengers: Age Of Ultron - How Much Did The Actors Earn?

5. Chris Hemsworth (Thor)

Age Of Ultron Paycheck: $5.4 million Chris Hemsworth has come a long way since leaving his role in the long-running Australian TV soap opera, in which he appeared 171 times as hunky high school drop-out Kim Hyde. The role brought him much attention at home and gave him the confidence he needed to take a crack at Hollywood. He was cast in Cabin In The Woods and the rest is history. The brilliant horror-comedy was actually co-written and produced by Avengers director Joss Whedon, who was so impressed with Hemsworth that he insisted he audition for the upcoming role of Thor (the film was delayed, hence why he was actually Thor to audiences first). Hemsworth now has two solo movies and two Avengers outings under his belt, and was reportedly paid $5.4 million for his latest turn as Marvel€™s Norse deity in Avengers: Age Of Ultron €“ a lot, but that€™s actually more than $3 million less than he was paid for Snow White And The Huntsman. However, with Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 coming in 2017 and 2018 respectively, the money is going to continue to roll in for the Aussie heartthrob (that is assuming he survives his own trilogy). Ragnarok is one of Thor€™s best story arcs in Marvel€™s comics, although given the current MCU status quo it's unlikely to have anything to do with the Stark-created robot replacement for the God of Thunder.
