Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Characters From The Comic Arc Who'll Be Missed

With integral characters to the main arc owned by different studios, how is this going to effect the Avengers sequel?

Next year, we will bear witness to the most spectacular and ambitious comic book movie of all time. The Avengers: Age of Ultron will see the largest on-screen ensemble of superheroes in movie history and stands to break all kinds of records, given that the Marvel Cinematic Universe already boasts two films that have grossed more than $1 million at the box office in Iron Man 3 and the first Avengers movie. Age of Ultron is a loose interpretation of a comic book storyline (in the sense that it has the same name, the same robotic villain with the same aim of taking over the Earth, a few of the same heroes, but a completely different story) and therefore there will be a number of characters who had key roles in the comic book arc missing from the movie - whether that's because they are owned by different movie studios or because Marvel Studios and Disney simply haven't chosen to bring them in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet is a different matter. In this article we're going to take a look at some of the characters who were in the comic book arc, but who won't be in the movie, and why their absence will be noticed by those who read the comic of the same name. Here are ten characters from the Age of Ultron comic book arc who'll be missed in the Age of Ultron movie (contains spoilers for the Age of Ultron comic book arc and the Marvel Cinematic Universe)...

Honourable Mention: Angela

At the end of the Age of Ultron comic book arc, the persistent messing with the time-stream that Wolverine and company had carried out causes a tear in time and space. Through this rift, the Image Comics character Angela gets pulled in to the Marvel universe (having been purchased by Marvel). Angered by the fact she had been ripped from her own universe, she heads to Earth to attack but is intercepted by the Guardians of the Galaxy, who she goes on to join. It would have been very cool to have this happen at the end of the movie and to see her join up with the Guardians in their potential sequel. Who knows? It still might happen! And now on to the actual list...
