In spite of the fact that it hasn't even started yet, we have known about the entirety of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for more than a year, as Marvel Studios laid out a schedule in October of 2014 that will take us all the way up to 2019. 2016 will see the third chapter of the franchise get under way with Captain America: Civil War but, while that's a huge movie in itself, the epic attraction in Phase Three is undoubtedly the two-part Avengers: Infinity War event in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The Infinity War will see the Avengers and (allegedly) their heroic allies like the Guardians Of The Galaxy taking on the Mad Titan Thanos as he dons an Infinity Gauntlet filled with powerful Infinity Stones and threatens the entire universe (the use of the word "an" before "Infinity Gauntlet" is intentional, as apparently there are two of them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
