Almost since Infinity War was announced, there have been rumours that Thanos wouldn't be coming to the MCU alone. Obviously, that has now been confirmed by the reveal of the Black Order and the Outrider army that was shown attacking Wakanda in the first trailer, but it hasn't quite stopped speculation.

For months now, there have been hints that Thanos will have some serious tricks up his sleeve - including rumours of big returns for some veteran MCU villains - but now it seems we have confirmation of an entirely different mystery baddie.

Thanks to one fan account on Instagram, some Infinity War artwork has leaked showing Thanos and the Black Order along with a mysterious figure...

As the comment there says, it's not Black Dwarf, whose design has been revealed already and it doesn't look like a normal Outrider based on the trailer reveals. This appears to be something else entirely.

And while you could just assume it's an enforcer in the Outrider army - or some sort of tank character - you then have to wonder why it would get its release as part of other Infinity War toylines...

Maybe it's not going to be that much of a major figure in Infinity War, but it seems strange in that respect. There are already more than enough characters to fill out several toy lines, so there has to be a reason why this figure is being deemed important enough for its own release.

Time will tell.
