Avengers: Infinity War - Power Ranking Every Character

1. Thanos

If Thanos wasn't at the top of this ranking, Infinity War wouldn't be that much of a big deal, now would it? The fact that he's coming in the first place - let alone what his plans are - and the ominous mystique already established around him indicated that his baseline is pretty bad-ass. He's a Titan, which means he's super-strong and durable, he's already proved himself capable of dominating Loki and Ronan (and The Other to a lesser extent), and the mere mention of him seems to terrify anyone who has already encountered him.

When he gets his hands on even one Infinity Stone (and learns how to use it), he's an entirely different prospect again, and if he somehow manages to bring them all together, he's a bigger threat to the MCU and its characters than anyone could ever imagine. Especially as he should be able to end it all completely with a mere snap of his fingers.

That's the kind of power that should always win these rankings. In fact, it's the kind of power that makes all else on them entirely redundant, which is why it's so key that he gets stopped.
