Avengers: Infinity War - Power Ranking Every Character

38. Pepper Potts

Despite it looking suspiciously like Gwyneth Paltrow was done with the MCU, she's back in Infinity War after her Spider-Man: Homecoming cameo and it would appear that her and Tony Stark are ready to go steady again. Beyond that relationship, it seems unlikely that we're going to see a great deal more from her in Infinity War (and like Happy, it feels a lot like she might come under threat to have some impact on Tony Stark).

She's not super-powered - aside from any residuals from her Extremis infection in Iron Man 3 - so she's not likely to be anywhere near the fight. And being in control of Stark Industries won't help her when Thanos comes calling.

37. Maria Hill

Whether they're able to do anything about it (spoiler alert: they're probably not), SHIELD are likely to be a very interested party when Thanos attacks Earth. Ever since Thor landed on Earth, they've had concerns about impending alien attacks (and have already been proven right to be concerned at least once), and Thanos is on another level entirely.

Unfortunately for Maria Hill, though, SHIELD will ultimately be pretty powerless when the Black Order and their leader arrive (if they weren't, there'd be no need for the Avengers and Guardians to get together). So expect Hill's attempt to defend against the attack ending disastrously for what remains of SHIELD, or for her to simply be there to offer tactical assistance to the Avengers. If she appears at the front-line, it won't be in any real meaningful way.
