Avengers: Infinity War Toy Reveals Another Look At The Iron Spider
Go, go, Spider-legs!
For a while now, we've known that the new outfit Peter Parker will wear in Avengers: Infinity War is going to be called the Iron Spider, even though it is a completely different colour to the high-tech costume introduced in the Civil War comic.
And thanks to a LEGO leak, it seemed we might be getting a more authentic design than initially suspected, as that revealed that Spidey woud be coming equipped with four added arms, just as he did in the comics. That may not have been entirely concrete confirmation, given previous LEGO set details that didn't make it into finished MCU movies, but now it looks like there's more evidence that we will see the arms in Avengers: Infinity War.
That comes courtesy of another toy reveal, shared by a fan account on Instagram...
So it seems that Spider-Man is coming to the Infinity War fight with a little help.
Whether this will lead to Peter discovering that Tony Stark has equipped his suit with tracking technology designed in part to evaluate him for opportunities to bring him down (if the need arises) as he did in the comics remains to be seen. But it's good to see another element of the Civil War comic coming to the big screen.
