There's also a definite post-apocalyptic/Mad Max sort of feel in the neo-Steam Punk costume designs and Batman's odd decision to wear a long coat as if to cement his mythology as a cool grumpy loner. The fact that he's being held suggests it wasn't actually Superman who caught him, which is somewhat embarrassing for him. Who are the other prisoners? Are they soldiers aligned to Batman? Are they merely enemies of the Super State?
