Batman vs Superman: 10 Casting Choices They Must Make

9. Bryan Cranston Is Lex Luthor

Bryan-Cranston-Breaking-Bad Websites are already reporting this to be true, though until we hear the official word - which will reportedly come when Breaking Bad finishes at the end of September - I'm going to take it with a pinch of salt, even if it is the most brilliantly obvious casting choice one could imagine for Lex Luthor. The character has in the past been taken on by highly esteemed, award-winning actors such as Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey, so why not add Bryan Cranston to the list? One can imagine that, if we assume the rumour to be true, Zack Snyder simply sat down with Cranston and said, "Just do Heisenberg", and really, that's all Cranston needs to do. He's proven himself to be so deliciously villainous in the later seasons of Breaking Bad, that all he has to do is shave his goatee, and we've got potentially the best Lex Luthor of them all, stripping away the camp and being straight-up badass.
