Billy Bob Thornton talks Bad Santa 2

badsanta_bthornton2_150x208.jpgYou know sometimes there are movies that you really do want to see but for whatever reason you have never got round to it? Bad Santa is one of those movies for me. I remember when it came out a couple of years ago and I thought it looked hilarious but for some reason I never got off my arse to the cinema to see it. The funny thing is too, my girlfriend has it on DVD but I've never watched it with her or borrowed it from her to watch. I'm determined to watch the movie someday! IGN have been speaking to the star of the movie Billy Bob Thornton who claims that a sequel to the movie might just happen. This is what he said... "I can say they're interested because it has been brought to my attention. But I don't know where exactly things stand with it. Right now I think it's still just nothing more than an idea." Would he be interested in playing the character again? "I'd probably do it. It was such a ball making the first film, I'd be more than happy to bring him back. The guy's just a really fun character to play." There's loads more to the interview that you can read for yourselves by clicking here. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a sequel to this. Bad Santa made over $60 million in the U.S. alone and I know for a fact that it's become a huge favourite between people I know who have seen it on DVD or on their television screens in recent years. I would certainly push Thornton in this direction if I was his agent. He has lead several terrible movies of late including School for Scoundrels, Bad News Bears, The Alamo and the upcoming Mr. Woodcock with Sean William Scott looks god awful. source - dark horizons, ign
