Brand New Trailer For Pixar's The Good Dinosaur Looks Awesome

Asks what if the dinosaurs didn't go extinct.

The latest trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur has just dropped online and it's pretty exciting. Cutting to the chase and selling the film's deviously simple, but no doubt complexly realised premise - what if the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs missed - it's a joyous couple of minutes of animation that introduces us to the film's style and what are probably it's key characters. Check it out above. The Good Dinosaur was originally going to be the studio's 2014 effort, but some major behind-the-scenes problems, including a change of director and total reworking of the story, led to it being delayed by over a year. The good looking trailer suggests the extra time might have actually saved the film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1nfAxkpx9M Interestingly, this trailer has been released before their next film, Inside Out, hits cinemas. Could this have been to combat/ride the hype surrounding Jurassic World? Or are they announcing their return in a really confident way? On that note, Inside Out, set inside the head of a pre-teen girl, is an absolute knock-out (read our review of it here), so Pixar will be riding high going into this one.

The Good Dinosaur is out on 25th November in the USA and 27th November in the UK.
