Captain America Civil War - 12 Things Fans Will Just Have To Accept

Spider-Man? More like Spectator-Man...

We're still almost 6 months off from Captain America: Civil War hitting cinemas, but even without a trailer in the wild to give us an idea of what to expect, Marvel fans have been readily speculating how the Russo Brothers might adapt one of the most iconic comic arcs in recent history. With the MCU heading into more daring, unexplored territory, they're inevitably going to face a bunch of problems both creative and logistic, and Civil War itself represents a massive mountain to climb for the filmmakers, and that's without even mentioning the wave of rabid fanboys primed to strike in case the movie sucks. From unfortunate casting omissions to the difficult nature of adapting the story and a few likely plot points you might want to come to terms with now, here are 12 crazy facts you will have to accept in order to enjoy Captain America: Civil War...

12. There's No Hulk & No Thor

Yes, if you were expecting to see The Hulk or Thor in Civil War, sorry folks! Both will be absent from the movie, what with Hulk in parts unknown (he was originally written into Civil War but removed to preserve the mystery of his whereabouts), and Thor preparing for the apocalypse in his next solo movie, Thor: Ragnarok. Granted, neither of the superheroes figure much at all in the Civil War comic, so while they'll be missed and non-comic readers will surely be disappointed by this, it's not like a huge chunk of story will go amiss as a result. Still, as this film is apparently "Avengers 2.5", it's a particular shame that the most novel asset, The Hulk, will be gone, and well, Thor's pretty dope too.
