Captain America Civil War - 12 Things Fans Will Just Have To Accept

1. Superhero Fatigue May Take Hold (If It Hasn't Already)

One major worry as the MCU grows larger and DC set up their own ambitious universe is that audiences are going to get fatigued with the sheer abundance of stories and characters they need to be clued up on to keep watching, not to mention the feeling of saminess that they may invite. In fairness, some will argue that the fatigue has already set in with the good-but-not-great Age of Ultron, and though Civil War does represent a very different narrative from the normal "bland villain wants to take over the world" plot we're used to in these movies, it's still likely to be familiar in a number of ways. In addition, the sheer frantic, busy nature of the story may simply make it more exhausting than entertaining, and if Marvel think that their box office grosses are just going to keep growing, they may be in for a rude awakening (after all, Age of Ultron grossed over $100 million less than the first movie, which is indication enough).
