Captain America: Civil War - What Did YOU Think?

Super ensemble or over-blown missed opportunity?

It's at times like this, you can't help but feel smug for being British: for some reason the Lord and saviour KevinFeige has decided - in his infinite wisdom - that we in Europe deserve to see his studio's movies before North America, and by God do we take advantage. The film is currently performing at the box office like an Avengers movie, with $38.7m netted in just two days of overseas sales and the few negative reviews seem to have the suspicious air of contrarianism for contrarianism's sake.

But each to their own: such is the way of the world of opinions. Not everyone is going to be as besotted with Marvel's latest movie as those heaping 9s and 10s on it (not least because there's a very angry element of anti-Marvel fans who revel in taking the MCUdown for effect).

So far, WhatCulture have published two reviews - both heralding the movie as near perfect and Marvel's best so far. Those sentiments are currently being echoed around the web - despite the ver pressing claims of both TheWinter Soldier and Guardians Of The Galaxy - and Feige can no doubt be delighted with the way the hype train is hurtling forward.

Where the film will end on the critical spectrum when more people see it is a different question. There will no doubt be some equalising that could drag the current 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes down, but it's unlikely it will come in under the 90-92% window. Inevitably, though, that doesn't mean general audiences will necessarily agree with the critics: which is where you come in...

We want to hear your reactions: do you agree with the hype? Is this Marvel's best movie? Is it really better than Guardians Of The Galaxy? What were your favourite parts, and what - if anything - could have been done better? Get the conversation started in the comments thread below.
