Casting Marvel's 10 Next Superhero Movies

10. The Vision €“ Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel Vision The one I'm starting with is a bit of a cheat, as it's not really speculation in the purest sense €“ we know Vin Diesel is in talks with Marvel studio execs about playing a character in their universe. For most people, the smart money is on Ultron €“ Diesel has voiced a giant robot before, lending his pipes to underrated animation classic The Iron Giant €“ and it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility to see him stay in his comfort zone. Couple this with the fact he's a busy man €“ love it or hate it, the Fast and Furious franchise continues to go from strength to strength €“ and you've got a perfect reason why he'd sign up to voice the Avengers' greatest foe. However, I'm going to make an unorthodox prediction and say he's going to be cast as The Vision. Now, I didn't just pick this name out of the air €“ Diesel posted a picture of the hero on his Facebook wall, exciting his 40 million friends. Most people think this was a joke, but I'm inclined to take it seriously, because I truly believe Diesel would be excellent in the part. It's still in Diesel's robotic wheelhouse (Vision is an android) and as an off-again-on-again denizen of Ultron/good-guy, playing Vision would require a sense of moral murkiness that Diesel has already played to perfection in his Riddick character. Of course, let's not forget the obvious too €“ the man's physically stacked, so is in great condition to play a superhero.
