Charlize Theron knows about The Burning Plain

Guillermo Arriaga has done as he plans to shoot The Burning Plain in November for 2929 Productions. The script which he has wrote himself once again has the inter-connecting storylines which connect together at the film's climax like they did in his movies Babel, 21 Grams and Amores Perros... all of which were helmed by his good fellow Mexican pal Alejandro González Iñárritu.

"There are very intense love stories here that take place in different places and times, with characters trying to find the healing powers of love, forgiveness and redemption", said Arriaga
Variety says Charlize Theron will star in the movie as Sylvia, a daughter who tries to find a common ground with her parents after a troubled childhood. Theron's a great actress and Arriaga has wrote some powerful stuff in the past, although I would say his scripts do come across as being a little contrived at times. It will be interesting to see if he copies the Iñárritu style or whether he has some of his own directorial tricks up his sleeve.
