Comic Con 2014: 10 Biggest Rumours‏

San Diego Comic-Con is still three weeks away, yet the rumour mill has already groaned to live and began tilling all sorts of hearsay and scuttlebutt across the fields of the internet. That's what mills do right? Till? Are we just putting them together because they rhyme? We don't know. We're geeks, not farmers. You wouldn't trust a farmer to go picking through the harvest to find the best gossip, the most exciting speculation, and to decide which of these rumours you can actually believe, would you? Exactly. We're at a weird place in popular culture where basically every big news story - every upcoming blockbuster movie, game, TV show and comic book - is announced during the panels of San Diego Comic-Con. It's ballooned from a place for people to dig through back issue crates and collect some autographs to a sort of debutante ball for all the awesome geeky stuff you'll be consuming in the coming months and years. It can all get a little overwhelming - so it pays to be ahead of the curve. There's already a few pieces of tittle-tattle that we can discount entirely - like the rumours that a Deadpool trailer is going to be shown, despite the fact that nobody is currently making a Deadpool film - but there's a lot of other things we heard on the grapevine that we're unsure about, and we're cautiously optimistic over. Is talking about a grapevine after the rumour mill thing mixing metaphors? Whatever.
