Cool Stuff: U.S. Postal Service To Isssue Pixar Character Stamps

Whenever I can, I prefer to take the time to hand-write a letter to someone, especially over Christmas, as there's still no better feeling in the world than receiving a personally scribbled note on a folded piece of paper. Electronic mail and text messaging just won't ever encapsulate that feeling of holding something real & tangible in your hand. I can't imagine a better postal stamp to accompany a personal letter than a Pixar character. The U.S. Postal Service have designed five character stamps to be issued in 2011 from Pixar's glorious library of films including; Carl and Dug from Up, Wall*E, Lightning McQueen and Mater from Cars, Remy and Lenguini from Ratatouille, Buzz & the aliens from Toy Story. Yes I do like the idea of mailing my post to infinity and beyond! Stamps will go on sale August 19th, 2011.
