Darren Aronofsky & George Clooney To Decipher HUMAN NATURE?

It's been a quiet two months for Darren Aronofsky who broke the hearts of geeks everywhere when he pulled out of making The Wolverine with Hugh Jackman just days after the Japanese tsunami - but a report at Vulture tonight emerges and hints at what could end up being his next film. They say the Oscar nominated Black Swan director has dusted off a fifteen year old sci-fi spec script titled Human Nature from Jeff Welch at Warner Bros, a screenwriter once attached to write a Doc. Strange movie that never happened. Human Nature has caught the interest of George Clooney who has effectively attached himself as 'a man who is cryogenically frozen and wakes up years later to a world in which humans have become pets of another species' - which is more or less the plot of Planet of the Apes, isn't it? Akiva Goldsman will produce and is working on a budget now but it all sounds like it's early days.
